ROYAL MAIL STRIKES AND SERVICES
Important information regarding Royal Mail strikes and services

You may be aware that the Communication Workers Union has announced that Royal Mail workers will strike for a number of days in the lead up to Christmas. Strikes are planned on the following dates:

• 24th November
• 25th November
• 28th November
• 1st December
• 9th December
• 11th December
• 14th December
• 15th December
• 23rd December
• 24th December

Further dates have also been announced by the CWU for functional strike action which impacts parts of their operation on the following:

• Processing, Distribution, International, Collections, Admin: 3rd, 9th, 15th, 24th November and 1st December 2022
• Delivery: 4th, 10th, 16th, 25th November and 2nd December 2022
  Network: 2nd, 8th, 14th, 23rd, 30th November 2022

While we are working closely with Royal Mail to minimise the impact this action will have on our customers, we do expect to experience some delays. It’s important to note that delays in the Royal Mail system won’t be limited to the strike dates.
